Dimsport – Fehler 0x477: Genius not found (Genius nicht gefunden)
Dimsport-Fehler 0x477: Die Race-Software findet den New Genius nicht – USB-Verbindung, 12V-Versorgung, Treiberinstallation und HOME-Menü prüfen.
Symptom
Die Race-Software kann das New-Genius-Tool nicht finden.
Ursache
Fehlende Kommunikation zwischen dem angeschlossenen USB-Gerät und der Software.
Lösung
Folgende Schritte prüfen:
• New Genius korrekt per USB mit dem PC verbunden? Falls NICHT: den New Genius per USB mit dem PC verbinden.
• New Genius korrekt an die 12V-Spannungsversorgung angeschlossen? Falls NICHT: den New Genius an die 12V-Versorgung anschließen.
• Wird der New Genius im Gerätemanager des PCs korrekt erkannt? Falls NICHT: New Genius abstecken, das aktuelle Dimsport-Treiber-Setup herunterladen ( http://reserved.dimsport.com/transfer/SetupDimsportDriver_v20.zip ) und ausführen. Nach der Treiberinstallation den New Genius per USB mit dem PC verbinden und warten, bis der PC das Gerät erkennt.
• Der New Genius muss sich im HOME-Hauptmenü befinden – der erste Bildschirm mit den 4 Symbolen WORK / TOOLS / INFO / STAND BY.
Wenn alle 4 Schritte korrekt ausgeführt wurden, kann die Software gestartet und die Kommunikation zwischen Software und New Genius geprüft werden.
Dimsport error 0x477: the Race software cannot find the New Genius – check USB connection, 12V power supply, driver installation and HOME menu.
Symptom Race software cannot find the NewGenius tool.
Cause Lack of communication between the connected USB device and the software. Solution Verify these steps: - NewGenius tool properly connected to PC USB, if NOT please connect the NewGenius via USB to PC. - NewGenius tool properly connected to the 12V power supply, if NOT please connect the NewGenius to the 12V power supply. - NewGenius tool properly recognised by the PC in the device manager list, if NOT please unplug NewGenius tool, download the last available Dimsport driver setup ( http://reserved.dimsport.com/transfer/SetupDimsportDriver_v20.zip ) and run it. After the driver setup connect the NewGenius tool to PC via USB and wait for the device recognition by the PC. - NewGenius tool must be set in the main HOME menu, the first screen with the 4 icons WORK / TOOLS / INFO / STAND BY. If all these 4 steps are properly accomplished you can now run the software and verify the correct communication between software and the NewGenius device.
